Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Trackports ("Trackports", "we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with this website and the inquiries you send us. Use of the Trackports application by customers and their authorized users — including the data they upload, such as lab reports and supplier data — is governed by our Subscription Agreement and Data Processing Agreement.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit our contact form or request a demo, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, work email, company, and message.

Information collected automatically

As with most websites, our hosting provider may process limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. We use the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — see the Cookies and advertising section below — and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact form from automated abuse — see Bot protection below.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule a demo, and communicate with you about Trackports.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

Cookies and advertising

Beyond the cookies necessary for the site to function, we use Google Ads — specifically the Google tag (gtag.js) — to measure conversions from our advertising and, where applicable, to support remarketing. To do this, Google may set cookies and similar identifiers on your device and process them to attribute conversions and serve ads across the web, which involves cross-site tracking by Google for advertising purposes.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses this data at Google's Privacy & Terms. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.

Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect our contact form from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile runs invisibly when you interact with the form and may process limited technical information — such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, and interaction signals — to tell humans apart from bots. Turnstile does not use this information to serve advertising or to track you across sites. Your use of Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, for example:

  • An email-delivery provider, to transmit and respond to contact-form messages.
  • Cloudflare, our hosting, content-delivery, and bot-protection (Turnstile) provider, to serve and protect the website securely.
  • Google, as our advertising and conversion-measurement provider, when you view pages that load the Google tag.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Trackports, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to maintain our legitimate business records, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and handled with appropriate safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work diligently to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond as required by law.

International visitors

We operate in the United States. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
